The Lecturer in Acute Care Skills and Simulation plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, student-centred education within the College of Medicine and Public Health. - Current registration with AHPRA and advanced life support accreditation, supported by substantial acute care experience.
- Proven excellence in tertiary-level teaching, including simulation-based education and innovative learning strategies.
- Strong curriculum development skills and understanding of accreditation requirements, with a student-focused approach.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, staff, and industry.

As a Senior Lecturer in Acute Care Skills and Simulation, you will provide academic leadership in teaching and curriculum development within the College of Medicine and Public Health. This role focuses on delivering innovative, student-centred education in clinical skills and simulation, while driving quality improvement and compliance across programs. You will lead course coordination, mentor staff and students, and contribute significantly to educational leadership and service at College and University levels.
- Lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of clinical skills and simulation teaching, including acute care and life support training.
- Coordinate topics and courses, ensuring curriculum innovation and alignment with accreditation standards.
- Provide educational leadership through mentoring, dissemination of best practice, and integration of advanced teaching technologies.
- Contribute to governance and service through leadership on committees, accreditation activities, and partnerships that enhance student success and employability.
You are an accomplished clinician and educator with a proven record of leadership in teaching and curriculum development.
