Qualifications:

• Current Alabama Special Education Teacher Licensure with appropriate endorsements
• Documented experience teaching in self-contained special education settings
• Ability to collaborate closely with other educators, support staff, and families
• Strong organizational skills for managing individualized education plans (IEPs) and student progress
• Willingness to work exclusively onsite (no virtual/remote options available)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, individualized instruction to a maximum of 20 students in self-contained settings
• Assess students strengths, needs, and ongoing progress, adapting lessons accordingly
