Systems Engineer - Aerospace Research

6 Month Contract to Hire/Permanent

We are hiring a team of Systems Engineers for a leading company in Aerospace research & development. The Engineering & Innovation Group will contribute to the design, development, testing, and operational support of specialized instruments and systems for ground and microgravity based research experiments.

• Assist with flight operations support for payload systems.
• Develop system-level documents and verification test plans.
• Support meetings and travel as required.
• Develop and track requirements and test plans.
• Review engineering documentation for compliance.
• Collaborate with other disciplines.

• Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering disciplines.
• 5+ years of relevant experience defining systems and requirements.
• Define requirements, implement requirements in documentation and testing.
• Initially focused on requirements and documentation, with testing and flight support in the future.
• Self-starter; strong communicator to drive conversations and requirements with clients.
• Ability to digest large amounts of documentation, high level of detail, etc.
