- Lead and support Quality and CMM team members, ensuring safety, performance, and effective daily operations.
- Program, prove out, and maintain CMM programs (PC-DMIS, BRAVO, Mercury, Zeiss) and perform layout inspections, capability studies, and Gage R&R.
- Oversee containment of non-conforming parts, manage quarantine material, and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.
- Provide daily quality oversight, including dock audits, inspection readiness, Quality Alerts, and shift pass-down communication.
- Support customer requirements through accurate reporting, PPAP-related measurement programs, and timely feedback on weld/sealer and teardown results.
- Ensure compliance with quality systems and standards including TS16949, ISO
14001, GD&T, SPC, and Magna/Kamtek operational principles. - Participate in production meetings, internal/external audits, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across quality and measurement operations.
- Train, mentor, and develop team members in quality processes, metrology practices, and CMM programming.
- Minimum 3–5 years of CMM programming experience (PC-DMIS, Zeiss, BRAVO, Mercury, Opticell/Optigo).
- Minimum 5 years of automotive quality experience, ideally with supervisory responsibilities.
- High School Diploma/GED required;
Associate’s Degree or higher preferred. - Strong working knowledge of quality systems, standards, GD&T, SPC, FMEA, and measurement tools.
- Ability to lead teams, manage performance, and coordinate resources across shifts.
- Attention to detail and ability to analyze technical reports, customer requirements, and inspection data.
- TS16949 Internal Auditor experience.
- Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
- Experience with Minitab or FARO CAM2 SPC.
- Robot programming and/or CNC experience.
