Mechanical Designer - Piping Sr

Overview

Job Description:

• Mechanical Designer must have a minimum of 10 years of experience related to the design of new construction and / or retrofit of power generation facilities or heavy industrial facilities.
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2007 (or later) with emphasis on 3D modeling, with proficiency in Auto PLANT highly desired.
• Experience in the preparation and checking of piping drawings and P&IDs is also preferred.
• Candidates must have experience with mechanical design activities including overall design and layout of piping systems, selection and use of power piping components and materials, pipe routing and pipe support design.
• Candidates must be physically capable of going to plants and assessing current field conditions and gathering necessary information to support design activities.

Candidates shall be self-motivated and capable of working within a team, have good organizational skills, and be able to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
