Position: Electrical Engineer – EPC Projects
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with experience in 13.8kV and 34.5kV systems and a Professional Engineer (PE) license desired to join our EPC team supporting power generation, renewables, battery energy storage (BESS), data centers, substations, and transmission projects.
What You'll Do- Develop conceptual layouts, preliminary designs, and cost studies for electrical systems.
- Perform voltage drop, load flow, fault current, arc flash, conduit/tray fill, and protective device coordination calculations.
- Size substations, motor control centers (MCCs), and other electrical equipment.
- Review vendor drawings and supportn
- Support procurement documentation, construction packages, and field verification/commissioning.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Work on projects involving turbine generation, including wind, gas, steam, and other types of turbines, covering design, integration, and operational considerations.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering.
PE license desired
. - Minimum 7 years of industrial or EPC electrical engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of NEC and applicable industry standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D required, 3D desirable), Revit, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with ETAP, SKM, or Easy Power is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills; able to work independently and with virtual teams.
- Experience with 13.8kV and 34.5kV electrical systems
