Project Engineer - Land Development / Site Design

Civil Consultants, Inc. (CCI) is a Birmingham, Alabama based Civil Engineering and Planning firm specializing in site development projects. We provide civil engineering and site planning services locally as well as nationwide. Our experience is very diverse, ranging from projects within the Commercial, Retail, Residential and Institutional sectors to projects involving Government and Industrial facilities. Whether a project is large or small, we take pride in providing our clients with outstanding service and quality designs.

CCI is a growing company and is currently seeking experienced civil engineers for work on site development projects. Depending on experience level, the candidate will either produce or manage projects and be responsible for the preparation of plans, specifications, reports and permitting along with assistance with client contact and communication.

• Preparation or modification of plans, specifications, permits, and designs for project
• Analysis of reports, maps, drawings, and tests, in order to plan and design projects
• Use computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents
• Perform site visits as needed
• Completes field work as needed
• Performs other duties as requested

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited university. We are hiring for a range of experience. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
• Candidate must be proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office is a plus
