Job Description & How to Apply Below
Imagine large, precisely manufactured building sections arriving on site and connecting seamlessly. That’s the Design Manufacture Construct (DMC) system in action—and it’s how a 350-person organization with eleven production lines is delivering the 2x2x2 promise: twice as good, twice as fast, and twice the value.
Your mission
Lead the electrical design thread through the full DMC lifecycle. You’ll turn requirements into resilient facility power systems, validate performance and safety, and ensure designs flow cleanly from model to manufacturing to installation—especially in demanding healthcare environments.
How you’ll contribute
Develop and detail electrical distribution, lighting, and related systems to meet client needs across small and large projects.
Coordinate with engineers, architects, PMs, and construction professionals to set design criteria and iterate intelligently.
Run studies that matter: overcurrent protective device selective coordination, arc-flash hazard, illumination, and energy performance.
Support production: 3D modeling, selecting manufacturing and construction methods, assisting with fabrication, testing, and field implementation.
Engage customers and partners to clarify goals, operating contexts, specifications, cost, and feasibility for new facility electrical systems.
Audit drawings/specifications for compliance with relevant quality and regulatory requirements.
Help manage CAD/Revit modeling activities and keep the work on schedule.
Work shoulder-to-shoulder with installers in manufacturing and construction to elevate quality, flow, and efficiency.
Back the project lead in coordinating contributions from managers, engineers, drafters, and manufacturing teams across all phases.
