Loan Operations Specialist

CAREERS

The Loan Operations Specialist builds loan files and ensures their completeness and accuracy. This includes verifying proper lending authority and levels, consumer loan document preparation, exception tracking, and booking loans into the system according to terms provided.

A sample of duties includes:

• Prepare loan documents for consumer and commercial transactions (real estate and non-real estate)
• Review attorney-prepared loan documents
• Examine title work on real estate transactions
• ACH/AFT system setup
• Processing loan closing fees
• Funding loan advances and new loans

Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements Include:

• Minimum of 3 years’ loan operations experience
• Familiarity with consumer and commercial loan requirements
• Knowledge of consumer loan regulations
• Experience with Jack Henry and Xperience strongly preferred
• Ability to research and resolve issues related to loans
• Proficient with MS Office
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, as demonstrated in previous experience
• Experience balancing multiple priorities and coordinating efforts with clients and colleagues
• Excellent communication skills, with experience interacting with internal and external customers
