Position SummaryThe Financial Information Analyst is responsible for analyzing complex financial data and delivering insights that support strategic business decisions, financial planning, and investment strategies. This role is essential in helping the organization understand financial trends, evaluate opportunities, and make informed, data-driven decisions.
Key Responsibilities1. Financial Analysis & Data ReviewCollect, consolidate, and analyze financial data such as budgets, income statements, balance sheets, and forecasts.
Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies through deep financial review.
Use historical and current data to generate financial projections and forecasts.
Provide insights that support strategic planning, investment decisions, and cost-saving initiatives.
Evaluate market trends and develop recommendations on individual investments and broader portfolio strategies.
Assess risk and return metrics in varying economic conditions.
Determine the intrinsic value of companies through financial statement analysis.
Support investment and acquisition decision-making with valuation modeling.
Stay current with industry-specific developments and macroeconomic shifts.
Use insights to inform financial models, forecasts, and recommendations.
Create detailed, professional financial reports and dashboards.
Communicate financial status, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders and leadership.
Develop and maintain complex financial models and conduct benchmarking analyses.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
Partner with executives and department leaders to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations.
Influence long-term planning and high-impact financial decisions.
Engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated on financial tools, software, and best practices.
Experience:
Proven working experience as a Financial Analyst (5–10 years)Technical Proficiency:
Strong knowledge of spreadsheets (Excel), databases, and financial software applications
Hands-on experience with statistical analysis and modeling tools
Knowledge Areas:
Financial forecasting and planning
Corporate finance principles
Financial reporting and performance analysis
Investment strategy and portfolio evaluation
Soft Skills:
