The Role
You’ll work closely with Partners and senior team members across the full investment lifecycle. The team runs lean, so Associates and VPs are given real ownership over diligence, execution, and portfolio work
, rather than functioning as pure modeling resources. The scope of the role will scale based on level, with Vice Presidents expected to take on increasing leadership across transactions and junior team oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate new investment opportunities and support deal execution
- Build and review LBO and operating models
- Coordinate third‑party diligence providers
- Prepare investment committee materials
- Support portfolio company initiatives and exit planning
- Interact regularly with management teams and advisors
Candidate Profile
- Associate
: 2–4 years of Investment Banking (M&A) or Private Equity experience - Vice President
:
Prior PE experience with direct deal execution exposure - Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Experience in healthcare, financial services, or tech‑enabled services preferred
- Professional maturity, sound judgment, and comfort operating in a small team
- Willingness to relocate to Birmingham, Alabama
