6‑month CONTRACT‑TO‑HIRE opportunity.

8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Location:

Parsippany, NJ (Free Parking – Must be local to Parsippany or willing to travel to/from office; training will be 1‑2 days in office initially, then 2‑4 days a month, remainder remote. Free parking, cafeteria on‑site.)

Pay: up to $45/hr

Job Description: Provides technical and operational support to Commercial Surety Underwriters by executing underwriting‑related processes, managing documentation, and maintaining data integrity across underwriting systems and platforms.

• Review and validate financial statements, bond applications, questionnaires, and underwriting documentation
• Enter, update, and audit account, bond, and agency data across underwriting and document management systems
• Support renewal, mid‑term, and transactional bond processing within defined authority levels
• Monitor queues and workflows to ensure timely completion of underwriting tasks
• Generate reports related to risk evaluations, portfolio status, and underwriting activity
• Coordinate with agents, service centers, accounting, and claims teams to resolve data or processing issues
• Maintain compliance with underwriting guidelines, authority limits, and documentation standards
• Perform additional operational and system‑related tasks as assigned

Education:

Associate’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field or equivalent experience.
