Full Time, Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm

Psychiatry Clinic, Cooper Green

Provides direct clinical social work services to community psychiatry patients, including: individual, group and family psychotherapy; patient and family education, consultation, facilitates intake evaluation clinics; assists psychiatrists in medication management; and provides some teaching in area of expertise.

• Education:
  
  Master’s degree from an accredited school of social work.
• Licensure:
  Must adhere to the National Association of Social Workers Code of Ethics and be licensed or eligible for licensure on the graduate level.
• Preferred:
  Adult, child and adolescent mental health experience.

LICSW licensure by the Alabama Board of Social Work Examiners. License must be obtained within six (6) months of hire.
