Staff Nurse Behavioral Health NH

Overview

In Nature Hall BH ED at Main Campus Children's of Alabama. Work schedule will be Full Time on the Night shift, 3 twelve hour shifts a week, rotating weekends.

The staff nurse is a professional nurse who, with minimal supervision, is responsible for providing nursing care to patients. Patient care includes assessment, interventions, and reassessments of the patient. The nurse is also responsible for planning, implementing, educating, and evaluating care of patients/caregivers.

Other information:
Must be able to use medical equipment, patient records, reports, and computer. Performs other duties as assigned.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

• Current RN license in the State of Alabama

• Current BLS certification
• CPI certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of employment (can be obtained at COA)

• Registered Nurse AL Single State or any of the following equivalent qualifications below:
  Registered Nurse AL NLC Multi State, Registered Nurse Non-AL NLC Multi State
• Basic Life Support

• Associate of Science Nursing in Nursing
