Kern Medical Hospital – Bakersfield, CA, an acute care teaching center with 222 beds, offers the only advanced trauma care between Fresno and Los Angeles. We are seeking a Dietitian to join the team, with cross‑coverage in NICU.

Scheduling:
Semi‑remote – 4 days onsite / 1 day remote.

Salary: $80,000–$95,000

Sign‑on bonus: $10,000

We are seeking a Clinical Dietitian full‑time to join our Nutrition Team in an acute care medical center in Bakersfield, CA.

• Provide medical nutrition therapy: nutrition assessment, diet modification, nutrition education, and intervention for the patient population.
• Follow company diet manual and clinical nutrition policies and procedures.
• Comply with all regulatory standards (federal, state, accrediting agencies) while adhering to HIPAA, confidentiality, and patient rights policies.
• Train and mentor patient services staff and interns as applicable.
• Participate in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility‑wide quality assurance/Performance Improvement programs.

• Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing Board, where required.
• One year of hospital experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, electronic medical record & diet office systems, and nutrient analysis programming.
