Quick Care Family medicine is a small business in Hoover, AL. We are professional, agile and our goal is to Offer high quality medical care in an urgent care setting.

Our work environment includes:

• Modern office setting

Front office 1 person:
insurance verification and collecting copay, deductible and balances on the patients account;
answering phone, managing medical records and faxes;

must be able to speak English and Spanish and work as a team player in a fast paced environment and must have the abilities to multitasking

Nurse/Medical Assistant 2 person:

Must be able to communicate in English and Spanish;
Taking vitals, Injections, do blood draw, and discussing medications;
Must be able to work as a team player and must have the ability to multitask

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare examination rooms for patient visits and perform clinical duties, including taking vital signs, and updating patient records
• Assist physicians with patient exams and procedures
• Administer injections, immunizations, and other treatments as directed by physicians
• Answer telephones, schedule appointments, greet patients, and provide general administrative support
• Provide patient education and instructions regarding treatments, medications, and lifestyle changes
• Prepare specimens for laboratory testing and order supplies
• Maintain medical records and ensure they are updated in a timely manner

Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification as a Clinical Medical Assistant, or completion of an accredited medical assistant program is preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to maintain patient confidentiality
