Location: Homewood, AL

Salary: $40,000 - $45,000 annually

Job Summary

A client of ours located in Homewood, AL, is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to source, identify, and qualify candidates for job openings. The ideal candidate will manage relationships with candidates throughout the recruiting life cycle and work directly with the HR Director to meet hiring goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Source candidates using job search websites, networking, and referrals.
  • Conduct telephone screenings and interviews with potential candidates.
  • Build and maintain pipelines of current, potential, and previous candidates.
  • Qualify candidates based on required skill sets and prepare them for interviews.
  • Coordinate travel logistics for candidates as needed.
  • Work with the HR Director to set and track hiring goals for field operations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information on all recruited candidates.
Essential Duties
  • Source job search websites for potential recruits and contact candidates via email or phone.
  • Review resumes and applications to determine fit for office interviews.
  • Network through industry contacts, trade groups, and employee referrals.
  • Efficiently and effectively fill open positions.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with hiring managers to assess candidate quality.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, or related field required.
  • 1+ years of recruiting or human resource experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of applicant tracking software programs.
  • Familiarity with online job-hunting websites.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Compensation and Benefits

Determining compensation for this role depends upon a wide array of factors including experience and training, licensure and certifications, location, and other business needs. The salary range for the role is noted in this posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
