Senior Payroll Administrator - Direct Hire (On-site)

This role offers a base pay range of $60,000–$70,000 per year, as provided by Vaco by Highspring.
Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Administrator to oversee all aspects of payroll processing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll administration, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment. This role requires a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities- Manage end‑to pointed payroll processing for all employees, including accurate calculation of wages, deductions, and overtime.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax laws.
- Review and reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to maintain employee records and ensure seamless integration of payroll with other HR systems.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports as needed for management and accounting purposes.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and best practices, and implement necessary updates to maintain compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of payroll administration experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
- Proficiency with payroll software and systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Workday).
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven problem‑solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
