Position DescriptionJoin CGI as a Guidewire Digital Lead Developer, where you’ll take the lead on cutting-edge digital initiatives and play a key role in shaping innovative solutions for our clients. In this client-facing position, you’ll provide technical leadership and hands-on expertise across Guidewire Edge components, with opportunities to work closely with Policy Center and other Guidewire platforms.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for Guidewire Digital initiatives, with a primary focus on Edge capabilities.
- Lead solution design, configuration, and development for Customer Engage Quote and Buy implementations.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Mentor offshore and junior team members, ensuring adherence to CGI's SDLC standards.
- Support integration and alignment with Policy Center and related Guidewire components.
- Ensure deliverables are completed with quality and on time, acting as the technical authority for Guidewire Digital.
- 5+ years of Guidewire Digital development experience, with proven expertise in Edge.
- Strong knowledge of Customer Engage Quote and Buy.
- Experience in a Tech Lead or Lead Developer role on Guidewire Digital projects.
- Hands-on experience with Policy Center (preferred, not required).
- Strong client-facing communication skills and ability to work directly with BAs, POs, and business stakeholders.
- Exposure to Guidewire Jutro and React front-end frameworks (optional/desired).
- Broader Guidewire suite knowledge (e.g., Billing Center, Claim Center).
- Experience mentoring distributed teams across onshore/offshore delivery.
This position is located in Birmingham, AL in a hybrid environment.
Compensation and benefitsCGI anticipates accepting applications for this position through October 31, 2025. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $88,200.00 - $. CGI provides benefits to eligible professionals on their first day of employment to include:
