Manager, Endpoint Security Engineering – KPMG US

KPMG is a global professional services firm dedicated to providing audit, tax, and advisory services. As part of our Digital Nexus Technology organization, we seek a Manager to lead endpoint security initiatives and safeguard our clients' digital infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  • Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot endpoint protection solutions, including Microsoft Defender and Crowd Strike, across servers, workstations, VDI, and mobile devices.
  • Administer and maintain core Microsoft security technologies, including Entra, Intune, and the Microsoft Defender Security Center.
  • Develop, document and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure a strong and compliant security posture.
  • Create insightful dashboards, reports, and data visualizations in Power

    BI and Databricks to support security analysis and incident response.
  • Oversee the administration of security platforms such as XSOAR and Wiz Cloud, including SSO configuration, role management, and system maintenance.
  • Act with integrity, professionalism and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG’s respectful and courteous work environment.
Qualifications
  • Minimum five years of recent experience deploying and administering endpoint security solutions within large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; a high school diploma or GED required.
  • Expert‑level, hands‑on experience with both Windows and Red Hat Linux operating systems, including security‑focused system hardening, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Deep practical knowledge of cybersecurity principles, modern threat landscapes, and industry best practices (e.g., NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, ISO 27001).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple high‑priority security projects and resolve complex issues in a fast‑paced operational environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in task prioritization, delegation, strategic resource planning, and fostering the development of high‑performance teams; exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders across all organizational levels.
