Job Description

Infosys is seeking an Automation Test Analyst
.

As an Automation Test Analyst, you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert and review the functionality of existing systems. You will conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

  • Analytical abilities, quick understanding of domain and good communication skills.
  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Birmingham, AL or be willing to relocate one of these areas. This position may require travel in the US and Canada.
  • 2 years of Information Technology experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Deploy and validate managed and unmanaged solutions across DEV, TEST, UAT, and PROD environments.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Customer Engagement)
  • Power Platform (Power Automate, Dataverse, Solutions)
  • Environment and release management.
  • Functional QA and UAT testing.
  • Defect tracking and documentation.
  • Coordinate solution readiness, versioning, and validation prior to promotion to downstream environments.
  • Perform end-to-end functional testing of stories in TEST and UAT environments.
  • Identify, document, create, and track defects related to workflows, approvals, integrations, audit history, and data population.
  • Validate fixes and perform re-testing after deployments.
  • Document test outcomes, limitations, and edge cases directly on user stories.
  • Configure and maintain Dynamics 365 components including lookup tables, local and global choice fields, forms, views, fields, and email templates.
  • Identify and resolve deployment gaps where components such as global choices or table data do not promote automatically.
  • Manage lookup table data by activating or deactivating records and aligning data across environments when solution deployments do not include table data.
  • Update and validate customer-facing email templates to ensure correct field usage and approved business messaging.
  • Analyze Power Automate flows to understand triggers, dependencies, and downstream effects.
  • Clearly explain flow behavior and system logic to stakeholders without assumptions.
  • Validate CRM integrations by testing data flow between external systems and Dynamics 365.
  • Troubleshoot missing or delayed records and collaborate with integration owners to identify root causes.
  • Communicate testing status, issues, and resolutions to developers, functional consultants, and business stakeholders.
  • Provide concise updates on production changes, data fixes, and validation results.
  • Partner with developers during testing to support release readiness.
  • Assist with access issues, configuration blockers, and environment errors impacting delivery.
  • Support sprint and PI planning by confirming testing capacity and feature readiness.
  • Cross-functional communication.
