In this role, you are more than just a customer service representative; you are a technical advisor and an essential link between clients and operations. You will manage complex B2B transactions, solve technical inquiries, and build lasting relationships with professional clients. Our client is seeking a candidate with a high degree of integrity, technical curiosity, and a customer-first mindset.
Responsibilities- Process and manage customer quotes, orders, and product returns accurately and efficiently via SAP.
- Provide professional and clear communication to clients and internal associates via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Review incoming transactions to ensure ability to fulfill specific project requirements, quality standards, and purchase order terms.
- Develop a deep technical understanding of products, services, and industrial applications.
- Educate clients on technical terminology, product features, and available technical support.
- Coordinate with the sales, logistics, and corporate teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Monitor delivery schedules to ensure compliance with company fulfillment strategies and client deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation using CRM and other internal systems.
- Identify and provide feedback on potential improvements to training, policies, and procedures.
- Serve as a mentor and resource to teammates, utilizing prior leadership experience to support excellence.
- Participate in special projects outside of the department as needed to support company initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in professional customer service, ideally in a B2B or industrial setting.
- Proven technical aptitude and a desire to learn complex product lines and systems.
- Prior experience in a leadership or mentoring capacity (either direct or indirect).
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience using SAP, Salesforce, or Zendesk is strongly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on clarity and professionalism.
- Superior organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
