Job Description:

At Regions, the Database Reporting Analyst creates, designs, and runs database reports using report writing tools based on end-user needs. Primary Responsibilities Creates, designs, and runs database reports

Updates and performs maintenance on existing reports

Handles database administration, data consolidation and management reporting

Owns processes, reports, procedures, or products

Serves as procedural expert representing a unit or team on cross-function processes or project deliverables

Utilizes software to generate metrics and develops actionable recommendations

Provides support to research teams or management by collecting data and reporting results

Follows established guidelines and identifies and resolves problems using some independence of thought

Contributes to workflow or process change and redesign

Owns regular reporting and process administration

Collaborates with various function teams to achieve business results

Adheres to the field's concepts, practices, and procedures

Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

Applies creativity and latitude as applicable

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field and five (5) years of reporting and/or data management experience

Or High School Diploma and nine (9) years of reporting and/or data management experience

Preferences

Advanced degree (i.e., Master of Business Administration) or professional designation

Certified in Structured Query Language (SQL), Statistical Analysis System (SAS) and other various Microsoft programs

Skills and Competencies Advanced computer skills

Excellent analytical and time-management skills

Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

General business knowledge

Working knowledge of SQL and is proficient in data manipulation and extraction techniques

Position Type Full time Compensation Details Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
