The Licensing Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the licensing team, ensuring compliance with state and regulatory requirements for insurance licensing. This role is responsible for guiding team activities, monitoring service levels, providing expertise on licensing processes, and supporting operational improvements to maintain efficiency and mitigate risks.

* KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise daily licensing activities to ensure timely and accurate completion of state and regulatory filings.

• Provide guidance and training to licensing staff, offering subject-matter expertise on compliance and procedural changes.

• Monitor key performance indicators and team productivity, taking corrective actions as needed.

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to address escalations or resolve complex licensing issues effectively.

• Ensure adherence to company policies, compliance standards, and state regulations related to insurance licensing.

• Identify and implement process improvements for operational efficiency and risk mitigation.

• Prepare reports on licensing metrics and compliance performance for leadership review.

• Support audits and regulatory reviews by providing accurate documentation and records.  
** EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.

• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

• 3–5 years of experience in insurance licensing or regulatory compliance roles.

• Prior supervisory or team lead experience is required.

** CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES / REGISTRATIONS*
* • State-specific insurance producer or adjuster license preferred.

• Compliance or licensing-related designations (such as AINS) beneficial.  
** FUNCTIONAL SKILLS*
* • Knowledge of insurance licensing regulations, state statutes, and compliance requirements.

• Ability to interpret and apply state rules and regulatory mandates.

• Proficient organizational and time management skills to meet strict deadlines.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for handling complex cases.
