Job DetailsOur firm is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and highly motivated Associate Litigation Attorney who will be a part of our team of skilled professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal research, legal writing, law and motion practice, toxic tort, product liability, pleadings, professional liability, and construction defect. This role demands a self‑starter who can hit the ground running, managing multiple complex cases while maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency.

- Manage all aspects of litigation including depositions, legal research, drafting and arguing motions, case management, and trial preparation.
- Actively participate in the firm’s toxic tort, product liability, professional liability, and construction defect practices.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and appellate documents, and file them with the court.
- Perform administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, manage logistics, etc).
- Provide advice and counsel to clients regarding legal rights, obligations, and potential liabilities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and opposing counsel.
- Work collaboratively with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure effective case management.
- Stay current with latest developments in the law to enhance legal knowledge and skills.
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
- Must be a member in good standing with the Alabama (AL) state bar.
- Proven experience in legal research, legal writing, law and motion practice, toxic tort, product liability, pleadings, professional liability or construction defect.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented setting.
- Proficiency with legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
