Morgan & Morgan, P.A. is seeking a lawyer to serve as a Pre-Suit Attorney in our growing Birmingham, AL office.
Responsibilities- Day-to-day handling of all pre-litigation work
- Complete the Flip-to-Lit approval
- Guide clients through the case process
- Drafting and filing of pre-litigation documents
- Complete TD approval for liability issues
- Oversee settlement negotiations and the formation of demand packages
- Manage the release approval process
- Manage a team of 6-10 Case Managers
- Focus on personal injury cases, primarily premises liability
- Drive compliance and KPIs amongst team
- EUOs, PIP Statements, recorded statements
- Law degree from a fully accredited law school
- An active member in good standing with the AL State Bar Association
- 2+ years of personal injury experience
- Ability to manage high volume of pre-litigation cases
- Excellent client service and communication skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Superior writing and oral advocacy skills
- Desire to become part of a trial team
This role reports to the Pre-Suit Operations Manager.
