Assistant Attorney; Civil

The Northern District of Alabama is currently seeking one attorney for a permanent Assistant United States Attorney (AUSA) position in our Civil Division. This position is located in the main office in Birmingham. Birmingham is an area of rolling hills, beautiful lakes, downtown lofts, evening concerts in the park, nationally ranked restaurants, and an amusement and theme park.

The ideal candidate will be someone with prior civil litigative experience with a desire for public service and living in the Northern District of Alabama. Applicants must possess a J.D. Degree, be an active member of the bar (any U.S. jurisdiction), and have at least 1 year post-J.D. legal or other relevant experience. United States citizenship is required.
