• Assists the O.V. Construction Manager to administer the technical tracking and documentation throughout the duration of the Design & Construction period and closeout of the project.
• Tracks and verifies compliance with reviews and responses to Construction Documentation (Field Changes, Design Changes, etc.).
• Oversees and manages the operations and maintenance activities related to transportation projects, ensuring alignment with GDOT standards and procedures.
• Develops and implements strategic plans for efficient and cost‑effective operations and maintenance practices.
• Leads and mentors a team of operations and maintenance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Provides guidance and support to ensure the team's effectiveness in meeting project goals.
• Implements and manages asset‑management strategies for transportation infrastructure, monitoring the condition and performance of assets and recommending maintenance or replacement as needed.
• Manages the budget planning and financial management of operations and maintenance activities, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost‑effectiveness.
• Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, including GDOT officials, contractors, and regulatory agencies, to ensure smooth coordination of operations and maintenance activities.
• Develops and implements systems to monitor and evaluate the performance of operations and maintenance activities, ensuring adherence to GDOT standards and regulatory requirements.
• Proactively identifies areas for improvement in operations and maintenance processes and implements best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Management, or a related field.
• Advanced degrees or professional certifications are beneficial.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations and maintenance management, with a proven track record of successful leadership in transportation projects.
• Experience with GDOT projects and procedures is strongly preferred.
• In‑depth knowledge of GDOT projects, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong technical understanding of asset‑management principles and operations and maintenance practices.
• Demonstrated leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a diverse team.
• Strong financial management skills, with the ability to develop and manage budgets effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders at various levels.
