Sirius Staffing is seeking a
Production(Chemical)
Operator
fora long-term position at a largespecialty chemicalmanufacturing site in Birmingham, AL.As an Operator, you will be responsible for maintaining equipmentwhile supporting quality control and assisting with installations and repairs.

Rate:$25/hr + benefitsoffered,PTOaccrued& Holiday Pay

Schedule:Will start

M- F (8-5) for the first few weeks for training before transitioning into your scheduled shift.

Shift:You must be available to workbothday and night shifts.

This schedule will rotate from days to nights every 90 days,including weekends and holidays. The typical work week is 40- 44 hours.(2 on,3 off, 3 on, 2 off)

• Operate essential equipment and perform routine tasks, following strict, detailed instructions.
• Carry outdailyoperational tasks within established processes and standards.
• Assist with installing, maintaining,and repairingequipment bypreparingandfollowing strict, detailed instructions.
• Support the quality function by working within strict quality standards.
• Follow basic mandatory work instructions (includingusingpersonal protective equipment where relevant) to safeguard the environment and the well-being of oneself and others.

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Abilityto perform operational tasks,includingmaintenance and operating equipment with little to no supervision.
• Clearcommunication skills to express ideas, request actions, and formulate plans or policies.
• Works with general guidance to develop, interpret, and align policies and procedures with organizational strategies and goals.
• Ability to workwith guidance toplan, organize, prioritize, and oversee activities to meet business objectives.
• Applyelementary concepts under supervision to manage and apply safework systems.
• Assists in preparing clear, concise, and accurate reports under supervision.
• Supports a culture of continuous learning and development by motivating team members to expand skills and knowledge.
• Identifies, evaluates, and manages operational risks within the production process under supervisory guidance.
• Maintains compliance with all applicable regulations and company procedures in daily operations.
