Corporate Warehouse Support (Repack) – Corporate Warehouse – Buffalo Rock Company

Buffalo Rock is an award‑winning Pepsi‑Cola bottler founded in Birmingham, AL more than 100 years ago. The Warehouse Support (Repack) team performs many general functions to support the efficient operations of the corporate warehouse.

• Properly follow all processes as outlined by the supervisor.
• Acquire and maintain training and certification on powered industrial equipment such as forklifts, pallet stackers, and electric pallet jacks.
• Use forklifts up to 50% of the day in the performance of job duties.
• Work varying shifts, weekends, and/or overtime if needed to meet customer demand.
• Perform general housekeeping functions within the warehouse, offices, and grounds.
• Assist Warehouse Forklift Operators as requested to meet customer demand.
• Follow all safety guidelines as required by management.
• Maintain all electronic equipment (voice pick headpieces, RF equipment, etc.) and immediately report any system issues to the applicable supervisor.
• Operate recycle equipment.
• Load recycle bins into the recycle machine.
• Keep plastic and cans separate and ensure that no trash is mixed in with the product being processed.
• Keep all floor areas in and outside the plant area clean, utilizing broom and hoses.
• Pick up trash from plant grounds.
• Adhere to the Good Manufacturing Program (GMP) as listed in CFR 21 section 110.
• Participate in various Food Safety related training that Buffalo Rock utilizes.
• Report potential issues related to Food Safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
