About the Role:
This CNC Machinist position is a hands on role focused on precision machining, CNC operation, and quality driven manufacturing. Responsibilities:- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC mills or lathes to produce high quality parts to specification.
- Perform tool changes, adjust offsets, and verify part dimensions using precision measurement instruments.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and machining instructions.
- Inspect finished components, document results, and maintain compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following all safety procedures.
- Experience as a CNC Machinist or CNC Operator in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read blueprints, use micrometers, calipers, and other inspection tools.
- Proficiency with machine setups, tooling changes, and basic troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of machining processes, feeds, speeds, and materials.
- Ability to work in a fast paced production environment with attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- Experience with multi axis machining or advanced CNC equipment.
- Familiarity with G code adjustments or minor program edits.
- Background in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices.
- Experience working with metals, high precision parts, or tight tolerance components
