Summary / Objective
Buffalo Rock is an award‑winning Pepsi‑Cola Bottler founded in Birmingham, AL, more than 100 years ago. The Warehouse CO2 Filler Operator is a key member of the Corporate Warehouse team responsible for performing many CO2 functions to support the efficient operations of the warehouse.
Essential Functions
- Properly follow all processes as outlined by the supervisor.
- Must acquire and maintain training and certification on powered industrial equipment such as forklifts, pallet pickers, and electric pallet jacks.
- May use forklifts up to 50% of day in the performance of job duties.
- May be required to work varying shifts, weekends and/or overtime if needed to meet customer demand.
- Perform general housekeeping functions within the warehouse, offices and grounds.
- Assist Warehouse Forklift Operators as requested to meet customer demand.
- Must follow all safety guidelines as required by management.
- Must ensure all electronic equipment (voice pick headpieces, RF equipment, etc.) is properly maintained and to immediately report any system issues to the applicable supervisor.
- CO2 Tanks: replace broken parts; unload empty tanks from trailers; fill tanks (weighing up to 45 lbs.); pull out tanks due for hydro‑testing; operate recycle equipment; load recycle bins; keep plastic and cans separate; keep floor areas clean; pick up trash from plant grounds.
- Food Safety: required to follow the Good Manufacturing Program (GMPs) as listed in Code of Federal Regulations CFR 21 §110; participate in Food Safety related training; report potential issues related to Food Safety; perform other duties as assigned.
Other Duties And Responsibilities
- Must exhibit a high level of ethical and moral conduct while at work or in attendance of any off‑site function during work hours or after work hours while representing the Buffalo Rock Company.
- Responsible for continuous self‑improvement through the knowledge and use of all Buffalo Rock provided training, either web‑based, in‑house, or any other provided method. Must successfully complete assigned training curriculum, including but not limited to online and/or facilitated training.
- Ensure that every reasonable precaution is taken to protect the Company from possible damages, theft, or other liabilities.
- Ensure that every reasonable precaution is taken to protect the safety of employee‑partners, self, customers, Buffalo Rock property, and customer property.

Must read, write, perform basic mathematics and communicate clearly. Requires basic knowledge of equipment / tools needed to fulfill essential tasks.
