Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Nights) – Birmingham, AL 35243
Pay Rate: $44/hour
Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse to join the Labor & Delivery team in Birmingham, Alabama. This role offers the opportunity to provide compassionate, high-quality care to mothers and newborns in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Assignment Details- Start Date:
ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Nights, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM (3x12‑hour shifts per week)
- Location Requirement:
Must maintain a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility
- Provide comprehensive care to laboring, delivering, and postpartum patients.
- Monitor maternal and fetal well‑being throughout labor and delivery.
- Assist physicians and midwives during births and obstetric emergencies.
- Administer medications and manage IVs as needed.
- Educate and support mothers and families through the birthing process and postpartum recovery.
- Licensure:
Active Registered Nurse license (state of Alabama or compact license) - Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience - Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
