Neonatal Nurse Practitioner NICU PRN

Job Summary

• Provides quality nursing care to neonates, including well, at-risk and high risk infant.

• Works in collaboration with Director Pediatrics, unit manager, charge nurses, staff nursesand Neonatologist in planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care.

• Examines and treats patients independently and in autonomous collaboration with other health care professionals.

• Ensures proper illness and injury care and disease prevention, diagnosis,treatment, and recovery.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing

Experience

• Two to three years as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner/Clinician in a Level III nursery.

Licenses/Certifications

• Currently licensed by State of Alabama, CRNP endorsed.

• Certified by NAACOG as Neonatal Nurse Practitioner/ Clinician

• Basic Life Support (BLS)

• Neonatal Resuscitation Provider Program (NRP)
