RN - Clinical Nurse Care Coordinator - OBGYN Clinic
Work Schedule:
Full Time, Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm with some weekends.
Work Location:
OBGYN Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Clinic, Women & Infants Center.

Position DescriptionManage the plan of care for a caseload of patients, assuming 24‑hour responsibility for patient caseload. Serve as liaison with the multidisciplinary care team. Plan and coordinate care with physicians, nursing staff, and other health professionals to ensure high quality patient outcomes within established time frame and appropriate use of resources. Coordinate patient follow‑up clinics and schedule tests and surgeries.
Position Requirements- Associate's degree in Nursing and five (5) years of relevant clinical nursing experience required. Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
- Preferred: 2–3 years clinical nursing experience.
- Demonstrates basic computer competencies including MS Word, Outlook, and electronic EHR.
- Currently licensed or eligible for licensing as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
- Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) required or to be obtained within 30 days of employment.
- Depending on unit/department, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the AHA may be required.
- Self‑directed / self‑motivated with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform a variety of duties, switch tasks without loss of efficiency.

- Work independently, recognize patient confidentiality responsibilities.
