Position SummaryThe Utilization Management NP position involves reviewing clinical charts to evaluate medical necessity and appropriateness of off‑site specialty visits using our electronic health operating system, and performing case management for hospitalized patients.
Responsibilities- Review clinical charts to assess medical necessity and appropriateness of off‑site specialty visits.
- Use the electronic health operating system to support utilization management.
- Perform case management for hospitalized patients.
- Current and unrestricted NP license.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and strong decision‑making skills.
