Oak Knoll Health and Rehabilitation specializes in providing a "home-like environment" with professional nursing and therapy services for both long-term care and rehabilitation. This means you d be working with residents over an extended period, allowing for the development of deeper relationships and a more comprehensive understanding of their needs.

Position

CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant from $14.00 to $17.30 hourly

Job Summary

As a CNA, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to our residents. You will work closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of those in our care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
  • Monitor and report changes in residents’ health, behavior, or condition to nursing staff.
  • Provide mobility assistance, including transferring and repositioning residents.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents.
  • Document care provided and observations in accordance with facility policies.
  • Offer emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive and caring atmosphere.
  • Follow infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state you are applying for
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in long-term care or a similar healthcare setting is preferred but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing high-quality care
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to varying shift schedules
  • Current CPR certification is a plus
