American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Operating Room position specializing in Neuro/Spine surgery, requiring 2+ years of recent OR experience and current Epic proficiency.
Requirements- Active RN license (AL or Compact) required
- Current BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required, AHA-issued only
- Minimum 2+ years of recent OR experience required
- Recent experience in General Surgery and Orthopedic procedures required
- Recent Epic EMR experience required
- DaVinci Robot and Max Face experience preferred
- Main Operating Room setting within the Surgery department
- Neuro/Spine surgical patient population with a 24-bed unit capacity
- 1:1 patient ratios
- 4x10 day shift schedule, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Call requirements apply
- Uses Epic EMR
- Standard OR equipment utilized
- Perform surgical nursing duties supporting General Surgery and Orthopedic cases
- Navy scrub color required
- Unacceptable attire includes t-shirts, fleece jackets, hoods, and nail polish
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
- Local candidates are not accepted for this position
