American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg-Ortho RN for a night shift post-op surgical unit role requiring 2+ years of relevant experience.

• Work on a 30-bed Med/Surg-Ortho post-op surgical unit
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• 3x12 night shift schedule, 18:45 to 07:15
• Every other weekend required
• No call requirements
• Floating required as needed
• Uses Epic EMR
• Bedside shift report required

• Active RN license (AL or compact) required
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications (AHA only)
• 2+ years of recent experience required
• Preferred experience in Med/Surg, orthopedics, and post-op surgical care
• Strong time management, positive attitude, and reliable attendance
• Quick thinking and ability to work in a very fast-paced environment

• Provide nursing care to post-op surgical and orthopedic patients
• Navy scrubs required
• No fake, gel, wrapped, or dipped nails permitted
• RTO for 12/25-12/27 cannot be accommodated
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible; local candidates not accepted
