Assistant Farm Manager; Moundville, Alabama

EBSCO is seeking a full-time Assistant Hunting Farm Manager to support the Wildlife Biologist/Farm Manager in Moundville, Alabama. This role involves assisting with the operations of a hunting farm, including wildlife management, habitat maintenance, customer service, and property upkeep.

• Property Maintenance: Caring for infrastructure such as buildings, fences, roads, and equipment, including general maintenance and repairs.
• Habitat Improvement: Assisting with food plots, cover plots, water sources, and habitat enhancements to support wildlife and hunting opportunities.
• Equipment Operation: Operating and maintaining farm machinery like tractors and ATVs for various tasks.
• Safety Compliance: Following safety regulations related to hunting, equipment, and farm operations.
• General Farm Duties: Performing additional tasks including livestock management and crop production as needed.

• At least 1 year of experience operating a tractor.
• Hunting experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience with farm animal care, waste management, and equipment sterilization is a plus but not mandatory.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Perform physically demanding outdoor tasks in various weather conditions.
• Effective communication with hunters, staff, and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in operating farm equipment including tractors and ATVs.
