Our client is seeking a Quality Manager for a unique succession planning opportunity. The successful candidate will work closely with the retiring Quality Director for one year to ensure a seamless transition of knowledge and leadership. This role is essential for maintaining the reputation for excellence in industries where performance is critical. You will be responsible for overseeing the quality management system, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance across all departments.

• Oversee the organization's quality management system to ensure all products and customized solutions meet rigorous performance standards.
• Plan and conduct internal audits across the company to verify compliance with established quality policies and procedures.
• Manage and maintain quality certifications and documentation required for manufacturing and fabrication.
• Lead root-cause analysis investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions when discrepancies are identified.
• Partner with the fabrication and production teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and error reduction.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for external quality audits and client-led inspections.
• Monitor quality metrics and provide regular reporting to the leadership team regarding departmental performance.
• Ensure all testing equipment is properly calibrated and maintained according to schedule.
• Facilitate quality training for new and existing employees to reinforce a culture of excellence and safety.
• Collaborate with the retiring Quality Director to document institutional knowledge and transition leadership responsibilities.

• Proven experience in a quality management or quality engineering role, specifically within a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality standards, auditing processes, and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and manage cross-departmental initiatives.
• High level of attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining zero-defect standards.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with experience in root-cause analysis and process optimization.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence all levels of the organization.
• Professional maturity and the ability to work independently within a high-stakes industrial setting.
• Technical degree or relevant professional certifications (such as Six Sigma or ASQ) preferred.
