Visual Merchandising Associate

Founded by Michael Carey, Stock & Trade Design Co. was created in 2012, within a 1,000 sq. ft. showroom in Birmingham, Alabama. Michael’s love for furniture and design was born from a passion for real estate and construction. Now 10 years later, Stock and Trade is growing strong with 5 retail stores, a growing social media presence, solid business to business relationships within our communities, and our flagship store located at The District in Santa Rosa Beach, Fl.

General Responsibilities:

• Create, execute, and maintain well curated visual displays throughout the showroom to drive branding and sales objectives, and maximize profitability.
• Collaborate with the corporate visual team and buying department to ensure the showroom visual presentations are on brand per the company's vision and merchandising expectations.
• Communicate with visual and buying teams regarding areas of opportunity for new and additional merchandise, as well as, how to handle stagnant and slow turning items.
• Change displays to promote new product launches, special promotions, and/or reflect seasonal themes per corporate visual directives.
• Run regular Sell-Through and In-Stock Reports (as indicated by corporate merchandising team) and partner with the Gallery Leader to ensure stock levels are replenished and maintained to support business needs.
• Lead and coordinate the processes regarding stock replenishment, with receiving and sales/design teams throughout the business day.
• Partner with store management team to ensure proper visual maintenance is occurring regarding styling and placement of products as merchandise is replenished on the sales floor to ensure impeccable displays during business hours. This includes ensuring cleanliness standards are being inspected and implemented, as well as, organization and maintenance of all store fixtures and visual props.
