The Inside Sales Specialist supports our Commercial and Select Sales teams by facilitating quotes, validating pricing, processing resale orders, and serving as a key liaison between internal teams, vendors, and customers. The role demands impeccable accuracy, strong communication skills, and a dedication to responsive, high‑quality support.
Responsibilities- Research availability and pricing for requested products and solutions.
- Work directly with manufacturer and distributor representatives to secure competitive pricing and discounts.
- Maintain knowledge of partner programs to ensure accurate price delivery.
- Create quotes within the quoting tool and provide final versions to sales representatives and/or customers.
- Validate pricing, configurations, and availability upon receiving customer purchase orders.
- Confirm all quote details before submitting orders to the ordering team.
- Update quotes and prepare documentation required for accurate order processing.
- Follow up on processed orders and provide order status, ETA, SO numbers, tracking, or other details as needed.
- Request expedited orders and process cancellations when appropriate.
- Process all new resale orders immediately upon receipt.
- Facilitate return requests, gathering needed information and coordinating with sales, engineering, and customers.
- Work with Accounting/Billing teams to resolve invoice‑related questions or issues.
- Assist customers with software and hardware issues, coordinating with manufacturers, distributors, sales staff, and engineers.
- Maintain current knowledge of all partner deal registration requirements.
- Submit and maintain opportunity/registration entries, ensuring all registrations remain valid throughout the sales cycle.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded; three years preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and persuasive communication skills.
- High school diploma or recognized equivalent required; college degree preferred.
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
- Experience with IT resale, distribution, or partner/vendor programs.
- Familiarity with CPQ tools, quoting workflows, or procurement systems.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.

Must be able to sit for long periods and use a computer keyboard and/or mouse while viewing a computer screen. Must be able to work in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities and respond quickly to sales support needs.
