• Providing protection for various protectees.
• Conducting criminal investigations pertaining to financial obligations of the United States.
• Planning and implementing security designs for National Special Security Events.

• U.S. citizenship is required
• Possess a current valid driver’s license
• Carry and use a firearm. Maintaining firearm proficiency is mandatory.
• Be at least age 21 at the time of application and less than age 37 at the time you receive a conditional offer of employment, unless you have prior federal service with special provisions. Veteran’s preference applicants must receive a conditional offer prior to age 40 to continue.
• Must obtain a Top Secret Clearance and retain it during your career.
• Uncorrected visual acuity no worse than 20/100 binocular; corrected 20/20 or better in each eye.
• Hearing must not exceed 25 decibels in either ear (500, 1000, 2000 Hz).
• Submit to a drug test prior to appointment and random drug testing while employed.
• Complete 13 weeks of training at FLETC and 18 weeks of training at the James J. Rowley Training Center.
• Sign a mobility agreement to accept assignments anywhere in the U.S. and overseas.
• Register with the Selective Service System or be exempt if male and born after 1959.
