Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer – Industrial Patrol in Coaling, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help deter security‑related incidents. Your role involves conducting routine patrols and providing outstanding customer service and communication to everyone onsite.

Pay Rate$14.00 / Hour.

- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, following site‑specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Monitor and report any unusual conditions or security‑related concerns within the location.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and/or any security‑related occurrences as required by Allied Universal policies.
- Communicate and collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security‑related issues or concerns as they arise.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
