BDI Inc. is seeking skilled and dependable Commercial Journeyman Electricians to join our field operations team. In this role, you will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems across commercial, industrial, and residential projects. Journeyman Electricians are expected to uphold the highest standards of safety, compliance, and craftsmanship while providing mentorship to apprentices on job sites.

Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, conduit, panels, receptacles, lighting, and related systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical specifications.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues, perform testing, repairs, and commissioning.
- Ensure all work complies with NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and local building codes.
- Lead, supervise, and mentor apprentices, providing hands-on training.
- Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and other trades to meet project schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of labor hours, materials, and work performed.
- Operate and maintain electrical tools, testing devices, and equipment safely.
- Participate in regular safety meetings and comply with company safety standards.
Qualifications
- Current Journeyman Electrician license (state-specific).
- 4-6 years of electrical construction experience.
- Strong knowledge of NEC and industry safety standards.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required.

Schedule
- Full-Time:
Monday - Friday
Location
- Primary work is onsite at commercial, industrial, and residential project locations.
- Occasional travel may be required for out-of-town projects (per diem provided).
