• Seeking Experienced Fiber Technicians.
• Full-time position.
• Ability to work overtime when required.
• Short-duration travel throughout Alabama and neighboring states, with paid lodging and per-diem.

• Rates based on knowledge, experience, and ability.
• Opportunity to advance career in communications industry.

• BICSI credentials considered a plus.
• High degree of low-voltage knowledge necessary for any position higher than a helper level.
• Installed ladder rack and 2/4 post racks.
• Cabling experience with LAN, inter-building backbone, security, and audio/video.
• Verifiable credentials supporting knowledge and experience.
• Installation of UTP, fiber optic, multi-conductor copper cabling, test/certify permanent links, and produce quality assurance reports.
• Interact with project managers and engineers, perform surveys, plan tasks, and manage crew of installers.
• Experience and character references subject to verification.
• Experience with industry recognized certification and test equipment, tools, and processes.
• Fiber experience required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Pre-hire drug screen, background, and DMV checks performed.
• Willing to promote and maintain a safe working environment.
• Complete necessary job site safety reports.
• Familiar with safe use of portable ladders and elevated work platforms.

• Lift and move loads up to 60 pounds.
• Work while bending, stooping, and moving in tight and confined spaces.
• Work while standing for long periods.
• Work in industrial environments with varying heat and cold.
• Operate drills, saws, and various hand tools safely.
• Comfortable working at heights from portable ladders and elevated work platforms.

• Good communication skills.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English language.
• Basic mathematical calculations.
