Wallace Electric Company is currently hiring permanent electricians with at least 5+ years experience in the Commercial and/or Industrial sector(s). We are seeking candidates who surround or reside near Montgomery or Birmingham, AL for an estimated Two-Year project. This is not a traveling, contractual position. We are pursuing accomplished, talented, and savvy Electricians (“Electrician I” and “Electrician II”) for both locations.

• Installs, repairs, and performs maintenance on Commercial and Industrial electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures.
• Responsible for specialized tasks including wiring, lighting installations, and upgrading electrical infrastructure.
• Experience in wire pulling, basic voltage colors, and panel numbering.
• Proficient in conduit bending, capable of installing, bending, and running over 100’ feet of conduit per day without assistance.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures, regulatory codes, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
• Highly proficient in electrical equipment installation; interprets drawings and mounts equipment accurately.
• Uses hand tools, power tools, testing devices, and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and meticulous work habits.
• Lifts 50 lbs. minimum; works in confined spaces and varied weather conditions.
• 5 to 7 years of practical experience or equivalent training from vocational/trade school or apprenticeship program.

• Installs and repairs Commercial and Industrial electrical systems; highly skilled with solid experience.
• Interprets blueprints, troubleshoots complex issues, performs preventative maintenance and equipment installation.
• Can work independently, train and supervise helpers, and convey information to others with clarity.
• Provides detailed documentation and ensures safety and compliance on the jobsite.
• Experience in wire pulling and knowledge of voltage colors and panel numbering.
• Proficient in conduit bending; installs, bends, and runs over 100’ feet of conduit per day without assistance.
• Strong understanding of regulatory codes.
• Uses hand tools, power tools, testing devices, and diagnostic equipment.
• Skilled at crafting material lists for work to be performed.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and keen eye for detail.
• Lifts 50 lbs. minimum; works in confined spaces and varied weather conditions.
• 7+ years of practical experience or equivalent training; may hold Class II Electrical License.
