The BODYBAR Instructor is directly supervised by the Fitness Manager or Lead Instructor. The successful candidate possesses a dynamic personality with excellent interpersonal skills. As a member of the BODYBAR team, this person will have a particular passion for serving others and will ensure a positive fitness experience for all BODYBAR clients.

• Cultivate and demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of BODYBAR’s method, mission, vision, and goals
• Design and instruct Pilates‑based group fitness classes, according to the BODYBAR teaching formula, that are safe and effective for clients of all fitness levels
• Educate participants on proper and safe exercise form
• Engage with clients
• Coordinate movement considerations, studio policies and promotions
• Secure substitutes for assigned classes in a timely manner; un‑subbed classes remain the teacher’s responsibility
• Maintain availability for holidays and summer
• Create community at the studio through engagement with members before, during, and after class

• A passion for health, fitness, and exercise
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of basic anatomy
• Prior Pilates/fitness experience preferred, but not required
• Complete the 250 Hour Comprehensive BODYBAR Pilates Instructor Training Program, including passing each apparatus test‑out (There is a fee for the training program)
