Position: Float Aircraft Maintenance Technician - RW (NE)

Float Aircraft Maintenance Technician - RW (NE)

Med-Trans Corp. is hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to support the EC135 airframe, ensuring safe, timely, high-quality transportation services. Full-time, Columbus & Greenwood MS.

Overview

Starting Salary: $63,960 to $93,288 annually
Float Stipend: $10,400
IA Stipend: $2,080
Sign-On Bonus: $12,500

Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs.
  • Manage inventory checks, update equipment tracking log, place replacement requests and document part expenditures.
  • Document service paperwork and FAA information as required, adhere to policies and procedures while complying with company information security standards.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
  • Facilitate coordination between departments, vendors and team members.
  • Collaborate professionally with allied health, public safety personnel, fellow AMTs and operations team.
Minimum

Required Qualifications
  • EC135 maintenance experience.
  • Three (3) years of turbine helicopter maintenance experience with a minimum of six months helicopter maintenance experience during the last 24 months.
  • Valid Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license.
  • Valid state‑issued driver’s license.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • EMS systems, aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning.
  • Travel between bases to support maintenance needs.
  • Ability to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.
  • Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • FAA Inspection Authorization certification.
  • Experience under CFR Part 135.
  • Autopilot maintenance experience.
  • Avionics and electrical repair experience.
